The other night at about 2:30 in the freakin morning I heard a cry and it sounded like Lane. I go in there and Cole is on the floor and I go to help him up and there's this big dark puddle. I call for Clint to come help because now Lane was up too. We turn the light on and there was blood all over the floor and Cole. He had a huge nasty deep gash in his chin. I took him to the E.R. and they didn't believe me that he had just fallen out of bed and hit one of his drawers that he had left open. They didn't do inside stitches which I thought they should have. When we went to get them out the scar was trying to open again so they put a butterfly on it and said to just let it fall off. So moral of the story, close your drawers before you go to bed!

Since Cole and Chloe's birthdays are only 2 weeks apart we usually try to do them together...we made the small mistake of letting Cole open a present before the festivities and it was this dragon/bakugon red ball thing and he didn't want to play any of the games. You live and you learn! We had the balloon relay, water balloons, squirt guns, and pin the tail on the donkey. Crazy two hours but it was fun! My little Cole is now 5 and Chloe is 3...sad day.

When I registered Cole for kindergarten he did GREAT! Except he can't skip...go figure. That would be one of the test on their motor skills. Anywho Clint went to work this morning and who knew that the school I'm trying to get Cole into had a preschool that is short 3 year olds? (Chloe will be 3 in june) Anywho it's 2 days a week for 2 hrs and only $45 a month! So I call of course and the lady asks if I'm putting her in just to get her used to the school feel or if she has speech problems...Say what? Now any of you that know Chloe knows how she talks, she definately knows what she saying but to me it's mostly giberish. So I tell her actually she does kind of have a speech problem and she tells me that they can screen her and if she passes then she can go for free and see a speech therapist! Holy good news! I'm soooo excited because I was actually just talking to my sister in law about waiting an extra year for Chloe to start school because of her speech but boo-ya free speech therapy!

So I was supposed to get up and go register Cole for kindergarten yesterday then go to my consult with Dr. Carter for my gal bladder and my mom was going to watch the kiddos. Well at 7:30ish Brock calls and says that my mom got in a bike wreck and is at the hospital...good gravy...so I call Clint at the hospital and he doesn't answer because at the moment he is actually doing the ct on my mom. He calls back and I tell him he needs to come home so I can go there...Well, I go and she looked pretty beat up(sorry mom)She broke her clavical but she couldn't remember who the president was(don't we all try and forget)Anyways, Brock was telling me how he had a million things that he was supposed to do that day so I tell my dad I'm taking Brock and I hurried home and took Cole to register him(didn't really sink in because I had a bazillion other things going on in my noggin)It took a little longer than I thought and Carter's office called twice wondering where I was, so I hurry and just take Cole with me and fill out like 10 papers...hate paper work. Then they take me and Cole over to the hospital to have the consult inbetween Carter's surgerys. Well all over the hospital are signs about how 12 and under are not allowed, whatever, anyways I guess he was having difficulties on the surgery he was doing(not a good thing to hear when I'm getting mine on monday)and that he would be another hour. I asked the lady helping us what the hospital would think if I took cole to see my mom. She didn't know and I told Cole he wasn't big enough and he said "but mom, I just got registered for kindergarten." Right, I forgot, well go get a job too while you're feeling so adultish. ;) So we went to see my mom for a minute then ran home to fix lunch for everyone. While I was making lunch Cole was talking to Chloe and told her that Grandma is dead....oh boy howdy...So Chloe goes over to Brock and said "Grandma dead?" Brock laughs, which he shouldn't have, and tells her no she's not dead...Then after we eat lunch we start the brock errands(teenagers are a lot of work...who da thunk?) We went to go get his prom flowers and guess what? They asked me what color my dress was! Ya they thought I was his date! No I'm a mother of 3 but thank you very much! Then we ran and got his graduation announcements and went and traded out avatar for a ps3 game for the boys to play and went to get flowers for my mom to take to her. Ran home and Jodi calls telling me there is a lady that needs some white hair flowers that she is out of and so am I so I have to hurry to make some and don't make it on time and so I just decide to hurry and make dinner then go restock the flowers after dinner. So at 730ish Clint tells me he's out of hair stuff and the walmart hair place closed at 8...run to walmart to get his stuff then go to Jodi's store to restock my hair flowers...Yikes by the time I get home I tell Clint let's hurry and read scriptures and get these kids to bed. Then we go watch the suns game in our bed and I take my glasses off and roll over and Clint says 'Are you tired already' huh yes sherlock do the math....

There is nothing this kid enjoys more than food! It's funny really though because it took him a while to eat food. He liked his mammas milk and it took a while to convince him that there were bigger and better things out there and now there is no turning back! If you are eating something you better be sharing and he knows when you are just giving him baby stars and not the good stuff! Don't be stingy!

Yesterday we went out to the Layton's for Tracy's birthday. It was pretty interesting...Sasha(friend of the family) brought her boyfriend and his son out to see the baby horse. Well I guess the son was picking on Ashley(Cole's cousin) and Chloe because Rusty said he was watching them and Cole put both of his fists up like a boxer and walked up to this kid and nailed him in the face. Then the kid turned to go to his dad and Cole started to throw rocks at him. Rusty called him over and asked Cole what he did that for and he said "Well, that's what my dad told me to do and he was bein' mean to Ashley and Chloe." Way to be Cole! You stand up for your sister! And yes Clint has told him to never start fights but if someone is being mean to his sister, brother or cousins he can sock it to 'em...that kid soaks it up like a sponge ;)

A couple weeks ago Cole got to have his cousing Ashley come stay the night...It was so funny, on Friday all of Ashley's sisters went and spent the night somewhere so on Sunday she was telling her sad story to everyone. Well I told her she could come spend the night on...Wednesday. Why Wednesday? Monday-FHE, Tuesday-Lost...sad I know but I don't need any extra interuptions. So I couldn't believe the countdown. Mom how many more days. Mom how much longer...and so on. They had sooo much fun though. There was a lot of the whole third wheel thing with Chloe but that's to be expected...

So the other night Grandma(my mom)invited Cole to spend the night. Good huh? Well I go and pick him up and we stop at Blockbuster and Clint runs in to switch the movies. Well Cole pulls out a piece from one of my moms games, a pokemon one...He tells me "Mom, Grandma gave me all these." I say, "She gave them to you?" Long pause and Cole shakes his head. "Cole, did you steal those?" Long pause and he nods his head. So I call up my mom and tell her and then make Cole apologize. Cole gets on the phone and says sorry. My mom says "For what Cole?" "Stealing." "Are you going to bring them back?" Long pause followed by a quiet "Yes." Well today Cole is going to go do something for Grandma for stealing from her...I was having a hard time not laughing through the whole thing because Cole was so distraut...My mom told me that he had asked to play it and my mom told him to be careful to not lose any of the pieces. She came back a couple minutes later and it was put away all nicely, but some of the pieces were just put away nicely in Cole's backpack...

Chloe Jade...she is Miss Independent. 95% of the words that come out of her mouth are either No or Me, and usually it's NO, Me! Don't try to help her do ANYTHING! Because all you will get is NO, ME! or NO, mememememe. And then if she realizes she can't do it she will say help, but RARELY. I'm really starting to worry about those teenage years, what have I gotten myself into?

I told Cole to help me get Lane to smile and he jumped right on in there, love him.

I took the Lane man in for his shots and at 5 months he weighed in at 20lbs 2oz...doc said i must make pure cream but Grandpa already told me that who needs the doc?

Cole is the BEST helper EVER. If you ask him to do anything he will drop whatever he's doing and do whatever you want. He LOVES to write, he has one of those write then erase things...don't know what they are called...but is constantly asking me how do you write this? Then he will write it. School can't come fast enough for this little boy, he is very hands on and has to be doing SOMETHING...

Lane can roll over, just from back to tummy. And he does it all the time then gets mad and starts pushing with his feet and gets rug burns on his face...then he's really mad!

Lane already is getting teeth, I can feel ridges, wish me luck...

Chloe loves to help with everything, as long as she thinks she's actually helping it doesn't matter what it is...

Cole asks about a bazillion questions a day. Just me and him went for a 3 mile walk(ya nuts that he went that far, but he didn't want to stop) the other day and he talked the WHOLE time about anything and everything. I loved it hopefully we can keep that up.

Chloe is a diva, anyone that knows her knows she gets her way one way or another.

I ran 3 miles the other day, totally spontaneous, I told Clint I'm going to run and that I'd probably be back in 10 minutes...I was gone for 40 and now I can hardly walk...baby steps. I'm going to try to go on his days off(he only works mon, tues, wed but 12's) so it'll be a rough 3 days in a row but hopefully I can get this last 10 lbs off.

Clint finally got his neck thing done and over with. He got his nerves burned in his neck so that he has no pain. He has a couple bulging discs that give him heck. And scoliosis that doesn't help either.

That should be about it...oh wait...

So, the day was goin pretty good...I had fed Lane and was burpin him and he exploded out of his pants...so I went and gave him a quick bath so that he's take a nap so I could shower. I turned on cartoons for the kids and went about my showering. well I get out and go check on the kids to make sure they're still alive and Chloe is sitting there hands in the air with poop all over her. I tell her not to move, run and get dressed, while i'm getting dressed Lane starts SCREAMING...I hurry to get Chloe cleaned up enough to be alright, then I calm lane down. I make the kids lunch and while i'm cleaning up that I hear cole tell Chloe not to move and don't touch it, then he calls me...I go in there and she had diarhea and had gotten up on his plush spring horse and dripped diarhea all over the place...so I clean her up once again and i honestly was contemplating just tossin the horse, that's how bad it was. But then Cole said "Mom what are we going to do, that's my favorite horse..." So I start cleaning that up. It's finally nap time, I put the kids down, feed lane, and I fell asleep for about an hour and lane woke me up and I hear Cole in the bathroom and ask him what he's doin and he says he's poopin, no big deal. Then "Mom I pooped my pants!"...Seriously? I go in there and there is poop everywhere! I hate poop...

This was when he was about a week...and the pix say it all, the kids love him. Sometimes Chloe wants some me time, or she'll sit by me when i'm feeding him but she has really done great. I don't have any time now, i'm constantly feeding, cleaning comforting...which is my job but boy...by about 8 i'm ready for bed and Clint's all serious? Yes...very serious!

Well tomorrow will officially be two weeks, and let me say I cannot get enough of this little man! I love the cuddling of newborns. None of my kids, since they could start movin, were cuddlers...they would fight, unless they were eating. So I take advantage while I can. I LOVE the fact that there is no talking back, no "NO" or anything of the sort. They just love to be held and loved and I LOVE that! I love how when you give them a bath they SMELL like newborns, and stay that way for a while. I mean seriously what is there not to love?

Monday I had a doc. appt. and he checked me and I was at a 5 and the baby was floating...which means if my water broke and the cord got in front of the baby, not good. So he told me to arrange things and go over to the hospital and get my water broke! I was seriously hoping he'd say that! Cuz I wasn't supposed to be induced till tomorow! anywho...he broke my water around 1:30, we walked around to get things goin better, started pushin at 6 and he was here at 6:20! It was amazing compared to the other two! Here's a few pix from the hospital....Oh ya the stats...he weighed 7lbs 14 oz and was 19 3/4 in long! good thing i had him 2 weeks early!

Just so you're not in the dark, which you may want to be...I had a doctor's appt on monday and he refuses to check me for fear of putting me into labor(I was a 3 5.5wks ago) Maybe that's why I want him to check geez! He is going to for sure induce me on the 28th...2.5 wks! I have been extremely sore and so far the baby has measured 2 wks big every time. I'm really crossing my fingers that maybe just maybe this will go sooner. I know I already get a week sooner, don't be greedy, but all you that have ever been preggo knows what's goin on!

The theft of Chocolate....

So, yesterday morning I went out to water the grass in the backyard and feed the dog. Well she usually comes right out of wherever she's at but sometimes she doesn't so I didn't think anything of it for the first little bit. But when I called her and she didn't come then I went looking in all the places she likes to hide...under the slide, in the tomato plants...nowhere. So I go around the whole perimeter of our yard like a hundred times to see if she got out somewhere, there was no holes and our gate was still shut tight. So I called Clint, my mom, and Jodi(she got us the puppy in the first place) to get some advice on what to do, which there wasn't really anything I could do. Someone had stole Chocolate.

Now we had some suspicions of the neighbor kids doing it because about a month ago they would climb up on the back fence about 30 minutes after me and Clint had turned out the lights and quietly whistle to the puppy. Then for about 4 nights straight they would throw fire crackers in our back yard. But when I wanted to do something about it Clint assured me they were just bored neighbor kids trying to get a rise out of us and if we did something about it then they knew it worked so they would try something else...ignorance is bliss right?

Back to Chocolate...so I went out to move the water and saw one of them in thier backyard and figured I could just ask them if they happened to see a little brown puppy but when I put the chair up the teenage kid was in his underwear letting his dog out to do it's business and I figured that if they had the puppy it would be out also, not that i sat there and looked real good cuz I didn't want the kid to see me looking in thier backyard with him in his underwear....

So I just left it be and I was going to print out flyers to put on the mailboxes around the neiborhood. 30 minutes later there was a knock at the door and low and behold it was one of the neibor kids...hmmm. He had "accidently" thown his football in our backyard and wanted me to get it so I went back and got it. Then me being the dork that I am(the neibors are black)said that we had lost our BLACK puppy(she's brown)then corrected myself and said well she's almost black she's dark brown....I'm such a dork, I was thinking that this kid was a really dark kid, I mean he was almost black( i'm not racist promise he was really nice) then he told me that they would keep an eye out for the puppy and left.

Then about 3 hours later...2ish there was another knock at our door and the kids had our puppy...hmmm convenient...and said that they had found her down the street...and she didn't have either of her collars, which there was no way she could have got them off because one of them was getting tight and I couldn't loosen the dang thing and was going to have Clint help me when he got a chance. then I told them that I'm surprised they found her because we thought someone had stole her... Then they sat there at my door for like 30 minutes while I talked and they didn't say a whole lot...they were wanting some kind of reward. Then they asked me if she was a lab(their dog is a male lab, convenient) and I told them no she was a german shorthair pointer...then I told them my suspicions of someone stealing her because there was no way she could have got out and that I was going to get her microchipped so that if someone did steal her again then we could find her. Anyways I finally just said that if there was anything i could do for them to let me know so that they would leave my house.

The reason this made me so mad is cuz this puppy is actually a pretty good puppy and not as abnoxious as the normal puppy...anyways...kids are bored and crazy, watch your dogs and for bored kids in the neighborhood.

Okay, I need to rant.

I was just watching the news, and I caught part of a report on Michael
Jackson. As we all know, Jackson died the other day. He was an
entertainer who performed for decades. He made millions, he spent
millions, and he did a lot of things that make him a villian to many
people. I understand that his death would affect a lot of people, and I
respect those people who mourn his death, but that isn't the point of my
rant.

Why is it that when ONE man dies, the whole of America loses their minds
with grief. When a man dies whose only contribution to the country was
to ENTERTAIN people, the Amercian people find the need to flock to a
memorial in Hollywood, and even Congress sees the need to hold a "moment
of silence" for his passing?

Am I missing something here? ONE man dies, and all of a sudden he's a
freaking martyr because he entertained us for a few decades? What about
all those SOLDIERS who have died to give us freedom? All those Soldiers
who, knowing that they would be asked to fight in a war, still raised
their hands and swore to defend the Constitution and the United States
of America. Where is their moment of silence? Where are the people
flocking to their graves or memorials and mourning over them because
they made the ultimate sacrifice? Why is it when a Soldier dies, there
are more people saying "good riddence," and "thank God for IEDs?" When
did this country become so calloused to the sacrifice of GOOD MEN and
WOMEN, that they can arbitrarily blow off their deaths, and instead,
throw themselves into mourning for a "Pop Icon?"

I think that if they are going to hold a moment of silence IN CONGRESS
for Michael Jackson, they need to hold a moment of silence for every
service member killed in Iraq and Afghanistan. They need to PUBLICLY
recognize every life that has been lost so that the American people can
live their callous little lives in the luxury and freedom that WE, those
that are living and those that have gone on, have provided for them.
But, wait, that would take too much time, because there have been so
many willing to make that sacrifice. After all, we will never make

So, I have been really sore, which for me isn't the norm because I didn't get sore at all with my other two until like the last 2 weeks. plus, i dilated early with both of them, not too early, Cole i was a 3 the last 3 weeks and chloe i was a 4 when i had two weeks left...so, we were supposed to go pick melissa up on saturday from the airport and me and clint were going to take advantage of the situation and have one last getaway. but since i have been so sore and all i had a quick doctors appt. for him to check me just to be sure. well, i'm already at a 3 which at this point is too early. I'm supposed to go get 4 steroid shots just in case and take it easy. I'm going to start going once a week to make sure i don't dilate more. technically i'm 32 weeks but since I was measuring big they moved my date up a week but they have moved it back now just to keep up on the babies developement. Since he is measuring big and all i think that he'll come early. due dates can be up to 4 weeks off and since i have been measuring 3 weeks big it's prob. off just a little. sorry about all the babling, i'm not too good at explaining things but you should get the jist of things.

The other day Jodi came over with her big old bag and told Cole that he had left something at her house...well he goes over and looked and was all "a puppy?" He was a little confused but loved her. He left after about 20 min. to go with brock to the mountains and was asking when they were coming back so he could play with her. He didn't name her until sunday when his cousins came over and he decided on chocolate...She's a german short hair pointer mixed with something else. She got blue eyes and is so cute. Chloe doesn't really like her but she is for Cole....

On thursday we took the kids up to play and then my mom said that if Cole wanted Brock wasn't coming up until Saturday and cole could go with him and stay the night. So I sent the camera and Cole had a blast! He caught the only fish and was quite proud of himself. We went up on Sunday morning to go to the church up at columbine and when we came back there was a bear! so crazy. Cole kept sayin, "um i don't want to get out here." He kept askin if Clint was going to shoot it with his gun. He sure kept a look out for that bear, it was hilarious.

Last Saturday we had Cole's 4th and Chloe's 2nd birthday. Their birthdays are exactly 2 weeks apart so we have always had them together. It was so much fun, the kids had a blast and it was like Christmas they got so much dang stuff. When Chloe opened the stroller she screamed it was so funny, she loves those things. anyways happy birthday to my two favorite kids!

I've been having a little bit of contractions here and there and my next appt. is next friday so maybe...i can have him even sooner! So we had a growth sonogram where they measure everything and he is definately going to be big! I will admit that on my first doctors appt way back when I fibbed and said that I was actually a week further so that they would go ahead and do the "discovery" sonogram. well right now i'm measuring 2 weeks big which with my fib means 3! So they will for sure induce me at least a week early if not sooner because he is growing rapidly, maybe I should lay off the junk food...nah! Plus with both my kids I dilate really early, with Cole I was a 3 for a whole month and chloe I was a 4 for two weeks then a 6 when I got to the hospital and was having no contractions! so...the earlier the better! August here we come! Oh and most likely we are going to name him Lane Paul Layton...I still like Trey but clint gets to pick and Lane isn't all that bad.

I still can't believe that it was two years ago that this little girl came into our lives. Yes, she took her time with everything, she didn't crawl till she was a year, and she didn't walk until 17months. She's still working on talking...but as long as she can say yuv you when she goes down for a nap then that fine with me. This crazy little girl can make me either super happy or super impatient in the matter of 5 minutes. She is either really sharing and caring or...not at all, in the least, and anybody that has met her knows this. It is her way or the highway and it has to be her idea. Don't get me wrong, this little girl has me wrapped around her finger but I sure hope her stubborn determined little self goes in the right path as she gets older or watch out! I will do a post of the party later cuz we aren't having it until saturday.....

So some good news...at my doctors appt. yesterday I'm measuring big! Yes! That happened with Cole too and they moved my date up so they are scheduling another sonogram to measure this little or big boy! So everyone cross your fingers that I can go early!
In the sad dept. Cole's dog got out of our backyard. He was sad about it but not miserable. The pound called and asked if she had ever been around other dogs. All I knew was the other rescue dogs and the pound lady said that she had to put her in a cage all by herself because she was soooo bad and that she had pit in her...the lady that we got her from said that she didn't but whatever. The pound lady advised that we not get her for the fact that if she saw another dog while in our backyard she could go all whacko...so another dog another day. Poor Cole...

This is Cole's new best friend, he gets up at about 6:30 every morning wanting to go outside to play. This dog slept on Cole's lap the whole way home from benson. Then we take her on walks and Cole walks her the whole way, she doesn't even chase after birds...amazing, didn't whine or bark the whole first night, this is my kinda dog!

My son...we were at Jodi's store getting ready to leave, and lo and behold Cole is at the door, on Main St., peeing....Yep, no shame people. I peep a little from laughing soooo hard! Then the other day we were at wal-mart and there were some people speaking spanish and Cole said(loudly)"Mom what the HECK are those people saying?" Duck and run!
On a good note though, this morning Chloe took her pants off and went into the bathroom, took her diaper off, and I found her standing in a puddle of pee at the toilet(she thinks she's supposed to pee like Cole) Anyways I guess I need to stop being too lazy and potty train the poor child.

Yes, Chloe got bucked off this thing and broke her arm! She hadn't even been awake for an hour, I was in the kitchen cleaning up after breakfast and she started crying. nothing new, cole teases her all the time, but she wouldn't stop and we kept asking her where it hurt and she'd hold up her arm. So we took her to the hospital, just where clint wanted to be on his day off, but it's broke at her elbow. We'll go to the doctor this week and get a prettier cast, this one's not so flattering for a princess ;).

So I don't know if I have been in denial or what but the thought of being pregnant again scared me...I for some reason thought I would miscarry like in between Cole and Chloe because a lady in my old ward said she had a miscarriage between each kid. But when I went to this last appt. it was so crazy! The fact that I'm only 3 months and there are already little legs and arms and not only that, every time Tran tried to get a picture the little guy would swim away! I think the wierd thing for me is that the baby moves like crazy and I can't even feel it. I'm grateful that all is well though and now I am more nervous than ever...can I really handle 3 crazy hoodlums? Yikes!

So for those of you that already know how to grow gardens, don't read this cuz you already know I'm sure, but...squash, watermelon, and cantelope grow so amazingly well and fast, just wait to plant them outside. They will overtake your kitchen and they just look like weeds right now and my grandma said to just through them out but they are just baby plants...I don't think I could, stupid I know. But I am excited to have some good old fried okra, I hope that one will grow a little faster so I can reap the harvest! And there is nothing better than a ripe, warm watermelon right off the vine! MMMM, maybe I should have waited to plant!

So my amazing green house is truly too amazing, I planted the seeds because the seed packets said it'd take 6 wks to just germinate...well the squash and ocra are already coming up, what do I do? The babies will freeze! Guess we will have an inside garden for a while....

What is this might you ask? The best invention ever! so it's like a miniature green house, and those little container things to the left, that's what you put your soil and seeds in. The amazing part is you don't have to water anything until the seedlings put off "mature" leaves then you take the lid off, and the other amazing thing, those little pots...you separate them but cutting them to one individual then you can plant the whole thing so your plant doesn't go into shock...and yet one more amazing thing, it only cost $5 at good old wally world...amazing! Oh by the way I planted watermelon, cantelope, green and yellow squash, bell peppers, okra, and two different kinds of tomatoes, my grandpa said those are the hardest to grow and he's an expert!

% years today! Seems so crazy! It has been the best/craziest 5 years of our lives! It has brought us 2 great/cute/crazy kids and another in the oven. I love Clint to death and am so glad that he works so hard for us so we can have a house and I can stay home at the same time! Here's to a bazillion more years Clint! KURTIS THE STOCK BOY
AND
BRENDA THE CHECKOUT GIRL

In a supermarket, Kurtis the stock boy, was busily working when a new voice came over the loud speaker asking for a carry out at register 4. Kurtis was almost finished, and wanted to get some fresh air, and decided to answer the call. As he approached the check-out stand a distant smile caught his eye, the new check-out girl was beautiful. She was an older woman (maybe 26, and he was only 22) and he fell in love.

Later that day, after his shift was over, he waited by the punch clock to find out her name. She came into the break room, smiled softly at him, took her card and punched out, then left. He looked at her card, BRENDA. He walked out only to see her start walking up the road. Next day, he waited outside as she left the supermarket, and offered her a ride home. He looked harmless enough, and she accepted. When he dropped her off, he asked if maybe he could see her again, outside of work. She simply said it wasn't possible.

He pressed and she explained she had two children and she couldn't afford a baby-sitter, so he offered to pay for the baby-sitter. Reluctantly she accepted his offer for a date for the following Saturday. That Saturday night he arrived at her door only to have her tell him that she was unable to go with him. The baby-sitter had called and canceled. To which Kurtis simply said, "Well, let's take the kids with us.

"

She tried to explain that taking the children was not an option, but again not taking no for an answer, he pressed. Finally Brenda, brought him inside to meet her children. She had an older daughter who was just as cute as a bug, Kurtis thought, then Brenda brought out her son, in a wheelchair. He was born a paraplegic with Down Syndrome.

Kurtis asked Brenda, "I still don't understand why the kids can't come with us?" Brenda was amazed. Most men would run away from a woman with two kids, especially if one had disabilities - just like her first husband and father of her children had done. Kurtis was not ordinary - - - he had a different mindset.

That evening Kurtis and Brenda loaded up the kids, went to dinner and the movies. When her son needed anything Kurtis would take care of him. When he needed to use the restroom, he picked him up out of his wheelchair, took him and brought him back. The kids loved Kurtis. At the end of the evening, Brenda knew this was the man she was going to marry and spend the rest of her life with.

A year later, they were married and Kurtis adopted both of her children.

Since then they have added two more kids.

So what happened to Kurtis the stock boy at a grocery store in Cedar Falls/Waterloo, IA and Brenda the check-out girl? Well, Mr. & Mrs. Kurt Warner now live in Arizona , where he is currently employed as the quarterback of the National Football League Arizona Cardinals and has his Cardinals in the hunt for a possible appearance in the Super Bowl. Is this a surprise ending or could you have guessed that he was not an ordinary person.

It should be noted that he also quarterbacked the Rams in Super Bowl XXXVI.

He has also been the NLF's Most Valuable Player twice and the Super Bowl's Most Valuable Player

I never had a clue how much you could care for you own children...it's an undeniable love, unconditional and it will never end...Cole he was the first and will have the love of the first child but today is about Chloe. There is a different love between mother and daughter, not that I love Chloe more than Cole it's just different. There is a different bond there, I don't know what it is but Clint says the same about Cole. But here's to Chloe my little princess. She's got attitude enough for a teenager, she's a fighter, and stubborn as can be, but her loves will melt you heart, I just hope that I can be the mother that she needs.

So I'm going to start with last saturday when we opened Jodi's store... Well it's open and it's so much fun! I love to go down and work, it's good for the kids to be getting away from me and it's awesome for me to have a break! Then comes my birthday which was on Wednesday... My parents took us out on Tuesday to La Casita...mmmm and gave me a card and some moolah, then wednesday I went and opened up Jodi's store and there were flowers, a balloon tied to a butterfinger, and the denim dress from downeast that I love and the zebra wallet... then I left at 1 and went and got my hair done, it's pretty dark and I got some red in it and I love it! Then my BFF came and decorated my house(thanks Rachel). Then last night we went to The Branding Iron to eat. Becky(Clint's mom)gave me a gift card to jodi's store and Brandy made a cake...all in all I think it was a pretty awesome birthday!

The other day Rusty gave this gun to Cole since he is the only grandson on that of the family. This 22 was Christopher Laytons sons gun so its Cole's 4th great grandpa's gun, it's about 100 years old and in amazing shape.

When we went to my parents my dad came down the stairs in this mask... the kids were scared but Cole figured it out but Chloe was mortified, she didn't look at my dad the same for the rest of the night. She kept looking at my dad like this.Then he went and got this and now Chloe was just wierded out.Then we hurried and threw it on to get a pix.

Sherral sorry I totally stole this but these are deliscious and kinda healthy? They have nuts!

1 stick of butter

1/2 bag of marshmallows

In a large pot melt the butter, then add the 'mallows and melt them too.

1/2 box plain cheerios or generic brand equivalent

1/2 cup chopped cashews

1/2 cup chopped almonds

Add these three ingredients. Stir. Pour out and flatten on wax paper. Let cool - if you want!
